I had some free basil seeds and was trying to grow them in a teacup plant pot that was in the gardening section in Poundland, however even though I watered it enough they weren't doing anything :/. I looked for some tips online and think I have a few more ideas now, especially about the drainage holes. I'm going to purchase some bits this weekend hopefully, fingers crossed it works as I only really have the option to grow them inside as we live in a flat so don't really have a suitable outside area and our window sills are all slanted so can't even put them outside on them either :/. Tweet me if you have any tips :) @GemsGemz86.

Gem x
gemsi2011.blogspot.com
@GemsGemz86Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11392811227948794968noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3992587484897734246.post-71806553924938433542014-04-15T22:42:13.539+01:002014-04-15T22:42:13.539+01:00Sounds fab! For the first time in my life I have a garden, and funnily enough I spent this weekend planting all sorts of herbs and veg, from rhubarb to pumpkins! I even got a mini greenhouse from Wilkinson's to help a few of them along! I can't wait to see them grow, looking forward to seeing how yours do too! xAmberhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13419131331006363289noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3992587484897734246.post-45762717183814079662014-04-12T13:56:04.130+01:002014-04-12T13:56:04.130+01:00Thank you so much for your comment Rhoda :) I plan...Thank you so much for your comment Rhoda :) I planted peas too, I really hope they grow. Tumbling Toms sound great, I think those may be the ones I got too I haven’t planted them into bigger pots but will look into the hanging baskets - that sounds great!

Ooh thanks for the tip - I love Marigolds! xAlyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17870421067692970498noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3992587484897734246.post-20799179217669720682014-04-12T12:27:26.934+01:002014-04-12T12:27:26.934+01:00Fantastic! For us peas were brilliant every year and also tomatoes. We did "tumbling toms" in a hanging basket type thing. They were gorgeous. I recommend planting Marigolds with the tomato plants as they are a natural pest control for toms. Haha I almost sound like I know what I'm doing...I don't!
Looking forward to your veggie updates!x
strupag.comRhodahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14867188816037506403noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3992587484897734246.post-85706576871156657742014-04-11T19:34:17.593+01:002014-04-11T19:34:17.593+01:00Thank you so much!
